Formula Rossa has been the world’s fastest rollercoaster since 2010, and Flying Aces has the highest non-inverting loop in the world. Go-karting, a motion simulator, teacup rides for kids and 4D cinemas are other attractions to check out. It’s truly an all-ages kind of place, and Ferrari remains a universally loved global brand.
Can I drive an actual Ferrari here?
Yes indeed! This is perhaps one of the main attractions for sports car lovers, and you’ll be taken on a lesson with a Ferrari expert around Yas Island. There’s even space for two passengers in the back, so a pair of lucky friends or family members can enjoy the ride too. This amazing experience is one of the many features that makes Ferrari World a unique entertainment destination. It’s available to all those with a driving licence over the age of 21.
What else is there to experience in the park?
Even those who prefer a slightly slower pace can find a lot to enjoy at Ferrari World. As well as the rides especially tailored to younger visitors, more relaxed experiences including the 4D cinema and acrobatic and optical illusion shows at La Piazza are available. The gift shop sells plenty for Ferrari fans and is an ideal place for finding souvenirs and gifts. The Ferrari Past & Present store has a great range of vintage and modern clothing and toys to choose from.
What about facilities?
There are five restaurants on site, each of them transporting you back to Ferrari’s homeland with a range of Italian cuisine. Mamma Rossella is themed around relaxed, home cooked-style food, while Espresso Rosso is a café for refuelling with a coffee or light snack. Lockers, wheelchairs and pushchairs are available for rent, and there are also prayer rooms on site at the Plaza level.
