How to get there

The Harry Potter Studios are close to the junction of the M25 and M1 and there is lots of free parking available on site. If you are travelling by public transport, take the train to Watford Junction station. Shuttle buses run every 20 minutes between the station and Studios. Harry Potter Studios has also partnered with a coach company to offer convenient and direct transfers from Birmingham and London Victoria.

How much time should I allow for a visit to the Harry Potter Studios?
Visitors enjoy the Harry Potter Studios experience at their own pace with most visits lasting around three and a half hours. As well as the main Studios experience, there are also shops and places to get food and drink. Dedicated Potter fans will want to spend the whole day.
Are there places to eat and drink?
There is a cafe and a Starbucks coffee shop in the entrance hall to the Studios which can be accessed by the public. Around halfway through the tour there is a second cafe, serving snacks, drinks and Harry Potter themed products such as Butterbeer. You are also free to bring your own food and drink with you to eat at the picnic tables provided in the backlot area.
Do I have to pre-book?
Only a limited number of tickets are available in each time slot and at peak times the attraction is regularly sold out, especially at weekends and during school holidays. Booking in advance is therefore highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Once the tickets for a particular time slot have been sold, no more will be released.
