How to get there

E311 Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

IMG Worlds of Adventure is just off the E311 dual carriageway, with ample free parking on-site. There is a free shuttle bus from hotels leaving between 9am and 10.30am, then returning at 5pm, or leaving between 12pm and 1.30pm and returning at 7.30pm.

Is the whole park covered?
Nearly all the attractions in the theme park across the four zones are indoors, in one of Dubai's largest air-conditioned buildings. One of the most thrilling rides is partially outdoors with riders emerging into the desert to loop the loop and climb to heights of over 200ft. Air conditioning allows visitors to enjoy the thrills and spills of their day out in comfort, away from the hot sun.
What are the four zones?
The zones in IMG Worlds of Adventure are themed around cartoon characters. The Marvel zone is all about superheroes, with thrill rides featuring The Hulk and Spiderman. Lost Valley is dinosaur-based, where visitors can meet animatronic dinosaurs and ride on a dinosaur carousel. Cartoon Network's zone is pitched at younger visitors, with characters like Ben 10 and Lazytown. Finally, the IMG Boulevard is home to the park's restaurants and shopping outlets.
Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit on entering the park and being allowed to ride on most attractions depends on height rather than age. Many rides will allow shorter children to board when accompanied by an adult. A full list of rides with height restrictions is on the IMG World of Adventures website.
Is IMG Worlds of Adventure just thrill rides?
There's lots to do at IMG Worlds of Adventure besides the high-speed roller coasters. There are gentler rides suitable for even the youngest children, interactive playground areas, restaurants, shops and live performances. A new addition is a 12-screen multiplex cinema, and the chance to meet and greet some cartoon stars. You're also free to spend your day eating, or browsing merchandise in the shops.
What characters can the kids meet at IMG Worlds of Adventure?
There's a special Meet and Greet zone within the park where you and your children can meet their favourite cartoon characters such as Spider-Man, Thor or the Powderpuff Girls. Meet and greet times will be available will be clearly advertised on-site.

Haunted Hotel
IMG World of Adventure's most popular attraction is the spooky haunted hotel experience, in the IMG Boulevard zone. Are you brave enough to venture inside the maze of corridors and come face to face with the actors playing the guests and hotel staff? Expect special effects worthy of your favourite horror film, lighting and a scare around every corner as you try to find your way to the exit. It's not an experience for the faint-hearted, and only those over the age of 15 can enjoy being frightened to death. The Haunted Hotel is the only attraction in the park which has an age restriction, due to the horror theme of the attractions.
Shopping and Eating
There are dozens of shopping outlets at IMG Worlds of Adventure, most offering products related to the characters and movies featured on the nearby attractions or rides. It's the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs of your trip to Dubai or to treat the kids to a memento of a unique day out. Restaurants on site cater for an international audience, and you can choose from cuisine and snacks from around the world. Many restaurants accept reservations, so once you've decided where you'd like to eat you can book your slot to return at a convenient time.
App and Annual Passes
IMG Worlds of Adventure has its own app, and it's worth downloading it onto your phone before visiting. The app gives information about rides and attractions, including current queuing times. You can also access the park's daily schedule, giving details of timings for shows, performances and meet and greet experiences. There's also a useful navigation feature to help you get around, and the app is available for both Apple and Android devices, free of charge. If you are planning to visit the park twice or more during your visit, consider upgrading to the annual pass which provides better value for money.

Dubai Fountains
Every evening, Burj Lake lights up with a spectacular fountain show. The water dances in time with the music, with thousands of lights adding to the show. Take a seat on the boardwalk for the performance, have dinner at one of the nearby restaurants, or book a spot on one of the traditional Arab boats sailing on Burj Lake for an even closer view of the fountains.

Burj Khalifa
Once the world's tallest structure and prevailing world-record-holding tallest outdoor viewing platform, a trip up Burj Khalifa is one of Dubai's must-do experiences. Step into the lift for your trip to the viewing platform, 555m above the city. On clear days it's even possible to see as far as the Iranian coast. Visit after dark to get a bird's-eye view of the fountain show at the base of the tower.

Ski Dubai
What better way to escape the heat than with an afternoon on the ski slopes? Ski Dubai is part of the Mall of the Emirates complex, and it's not just skiing. Test your skills on both beginner and more advanced slopes, with snowboarding and tobogganing also available on 3,000m² of real snow.
